About the product: The skin requires a gentle boost after cleansing to rehydrate, tone and prepare it for moisturising. This pure and active water-based toner is made from five Ayurvedic floral, fruit, and herbal extracts, captured and crystallized at the height of potency. These ingredients are then steam distilled for their pure essential oils and their fresh floral water residue to prepare this intensely hydrating facial toner.

How to Use: Use as a toner after cleansing or as often as required during the day to keep the skin fresh and hydrated.

Packaging: This facial mist comes packaged in a beautiful and sturdy dark brown see-through bottle, with a spray nozzle. The spray nozzle is further covered with a small plastic cap. On top of the bottle, the brand’s logo and name of the product are mentioned, and further details about the product are at the back. The spray nozzle works beautifully. The packaging is sturdy, very travel-friendly if you want to carry it around the entire day, comes in different sizes. I really like the packaging, it’s practical and convenient.

Contents of the product: Now coming to the list of ingredients that makes this facial mist or toner a good one.

It has Saffron: In Ayurveda, Saffron is grouped under the category of herbs that are known to give the skin a warm, glowing complexion.

It has Mogra Oil: A strain of Jasmin, Mogra is a vine with very fragrant white flowers. The essential oil of this flower helps improve the skin’s elasticity, balances oil production and evens out the skin tone.

It has Marigold: Marigold or Calendula has a high content of flavonoids, that act as anti-oxidants in the body.

It has Rose: Also known as Desi Gulab in India, Rose, when applied onto the skin, tones and diminishes fine lines and deeply hydrates the skin.

It has Kewda Water: The delicate Ketaki or Kewda flowers have anti-oxidant and cooling properties.

Effects & Experience: I got this facial mist from FE a few months ago and I have been using this ever since. I am not big on toners at the moment as a lot of them do irritate my skin a lot, so I prefer using these mild facial mists or maybe rose water as a toner after cleansing my face.

So coming to my experience with this product, as soon as you spray it on your face, it instantly makes you feel fresh because of its lightweight water like texture and its soothing fragrance. You can smell the rose, marigold, and jasmine in its fragrance and it instantly lifts your mood and calms your senses. As soon as you spray it on your entire face, your skin feels calm too. The mist gets absorbed into the skin within a few seconds. It does not sting or irritate your skin at all, since it does not have alcohol or any other harmful ingredients. It gives a subtle amount of hydration to the skin after you have cleansed it.

It is a great product for an instant pick-me-up on hot summer days or when you’re travelling and need a boost of instant hydration. It has a soothing effect on the skin. Also, 2-3 sprays are more than enough for your entire face since the spray nozzle sprays an adequate amount of product, and the texture is water-like, otherwise the product will start dripping off your face if you spray too much. This entire bottle has lasted me more than 6 months now, even when I have used it almost every day.

This mist is suitable for all skin types, great for people with sensitive or acne-prone skin. Made with 100% natural floral water from the condensation collected during the steam distillation of flowers.

Conclusion: So I have been using this Facial Tonic Mist from FE for months now and I don’t have anything bad to say about it. It is a good facial mist to use to instantly revive your skin, or as a toner if you want something mild on your skin after cleansing your face. It does not do anything miraculous, in my opinion. I use it as a toner and as a facial mist any time of the day when I want to. It is mild, natural, does not sting, has a very calming fragrance, soothes my skin, and helps in retaining the moisture, and gives a subtle glow to the skin. A great product to travel around with, or just keep in your bag to help revive your skin on a long day. You can spray it multiple times the entire day. Also, you only need to spray 2-3 pumps for your entire face. And be mindful with your sprays if you have makeup on, otherwise it will start dripping off your face as it has a water like consistency. Other than that, I like this product. It is a mild everyday facial mist and a toner with natural ingredients for your skin.

I recommend Forest Essential’s Facial Tonic Mist Panchpushp, if you are looking for a mild facial mist or a toner made with natural ingredients that does not sting or irritate your skin, and leaves you with a calming effect.
