About the lipstick: Sign your lips in statement color with new L’Oreal Paris Rouge Signature Liquid Lip Ink. A collection of 12 ultra-matte lip inks that combine bold color with a super-lightweight finish, for the ultimate bare-lip sensation. The oil-in-water formula lets lips breathe, leaving a memorable mark but a forgettable feel for the ultimate all-day comfort. Every swipe will provide an instant pure color statement that lasts with a soft-matte finish.

Packaging: The L’Oreal Rouge Signature Matte Liquid Lipstick comes packaged in a transparent frosted tube, which makes it easy to see the shade through the tube itself. It has a matte black cap which closes with a click, which is also great as it ends the chances of leakage or anything of that sort. The name of the brand is written on the cap on a golden plate which looks really classy, and the shade name is written on the top of the cap. As you open the cap, you see a soft, doe-shaped applicator which is amazing. The applicator is very flexible and sharp which allows you precise application on the lips. The applicator does complete justice to the application of these lip colors.

Texture: The texture of these lip colors or lip inks is unbelievably thinner than a standard liquid lipstick. The formulation is extremely lightweight, almost feels like nothing. The consistency is so thin yet the color deposition on the lips is great. It doesn’t flake, or bleed or smudges easily. The color is not completely transfer-proof but it does last long and doesn’t fade away easily. As it does starts fading after few hours, the lipstick leaves a stain behind until you remove it, which I find great. Also, the formulation and the texture doesn’t feel drying at all. It feels breathable and nourishing.

Pigmentation: Despite the thin and lightweight consistency, the pigmentation of these lip inks are amazing. A single swipe deposits such rich color and pigment. You don’t need multiple layers for it to show the pigment. They feel extremely comfortable on the lips. These lipsticks lasts for a decent 6-7 hours and leaves a stain behind till you remove it. It almost feels like a gloss when you apply it, but settles down in a matte finish within few minutes.

Shade – 115 I Am Worth It: This shade is beautiful pinkish red. Perfect for all skin tones. It’s a good shade when you want to wear a subtle pinkish-red shade to a party, or a function, or any occasion. This shade instantly brightens up your whole face and your entire look. Plus, the lightweight formula makes it feel like a second skin.

Conclusion: I really like these lip inks from L’Oreal. The packaging is great, very travel friendly and comes with a great applicator. The texture and the formulation is what draws me to this lipstick. The formulation is so lightweight that it doesn’t feel like you have anything on your lips at all. These lipsticks do transfer a little but the staying power of these lipsticks are good, they last up to 6-7 hours and leaves a stain behind until you remove it.
These do not dry out your lips at all, in fact they feel nourishing to me. Also, the texture feels very comfortable and breathable, almost like a second skin. As the commercial says, less texture, more color. And the pinkish-red shade that I own looks stunning upon wearing. The shade range is great too, there are so many amazing shades you can choose from. The shade names are pretty empowering.
I totally recommend L’Oreal Paris’s Rouge Signature Matte Liquid Lipstick if you’re looking for a pigmented yet very comfortable and lightweight liquid lipstick.
